It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Emily Gold, a vibrant 17-year-old cheerleader who recently appeared on America’s Got Talent. Her high school dance team announced the heartbreaking news on September 16th, describing Emily as beautiful, kind, and loving. A senior and Varsity Dance Captain at Los Osos High School, she was not only a skilled dancer but also a leader and role model to her teammates.
As news of Emily’s passing spread, friends and family rushed to pay tribute to the talented cheerleader. One person shared, “She will be missed dearly. May she rest in peace.” It is a devastating loss for all who knew her.
The San Bernardino Coroner’s Office confirmed that Emily took her own life. In response to this tragedy, a GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support her family during this difficult time. So far, the campaign has raised an astounding $25,000. This outpouring of support demonstrates the impact Emily had on those around her and the love she received.
